ABOUT

I was born and raised in a small town in Maine but always had aspirations for a bigger, more cosmopolitan life. I would design dresses for my Barbies while watching Style with Elsa Klensch. Later I worked retail jobs to help pay for my education. I attended Columbia University and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York earning degrees in French, Art History, and Fashion Design respectively. Study abroad in Paris gave me a glimpse of Haute Couture and the best art museums in the world. In NYC, I worked for Vera Wang and Ralph Lauren gaining valuable wholesale and Technical Design skills.
A change in lifestyle led to a solo move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Costume Design and Styling. My clients include McDonald's, Lands End, and Disney to name a few. A series on Nickelodeon earned me entrance into the Costume Designers Guild. While taking some time to raise my two daughters, I worked as a Seamstress and a Remote Stylist for Stitch Fix. It’s no coincidence my daughters won more than a few school Costume contests! In 2020 I returned to school to specialize in Graphic Design, earning a certificate in Digital Media Design. I am eager to bring my wealth of design and life experience to any new challenge!
